Its been a very exciting week at www.mylittleloves.co.uk as we have been featured in the Daily Mirror newspaper in their Biz Bureau page.

The article features marketing tips for home-based mums setting up an online business.

 The newspaper had sent a photographer round to MyLittleLoves HQ and took this lovely shot of me and our gorgeous Jimmy Choo sign and it seems that the sign is very popular with Mirror readers as we have had lots of sales and enquiries about the handmade sign since it featured.

Christmas Is Coming Eleven Weeks To Go

In the heat and sunshine of last week we were busy at MyLittleLoves preparing for Christmas!

As this is www.mylittleloves.co.uk first Christmas it is a very special time, so we have been busy choosing new products and adding them to the website.

It felt very strange recieving christmas themed packages through the post while still applying suncream!

Although the glorious sunshine did enable us to get some great photographs in the garden.

MyLittleLoves By The Sea x

We had a fantastic week last week when MyLittleLoves headed to Cornwall and Devon for a photo shoot!

Some lovely new products have been delivered to MyLittleLoves HQ recently so i thought what a great idea it would be combining a family holiday with the chance to photograph some of the lovely products from our summer collection.....on the beach!!

While driving around the Cornish coast we stumbled across St Ives beach, we had never been before and instantly fell in love with its gorgeous sandy beaches and fabulous views across the bay.

  While little Spencer got stuck in building sandcastles i went for a walk with my camera and a bag full of gorgeous goodies!

My new hobby is photography, i only purchased my new camera a couple of months ago but i have become addicted to taking photographs.

As MyLittleLoves is purely an online shop i have really begun to appreciate the importance of a good photograph.

As the customer is unable to touch and feel the products my camera is my best friend and the most important tool i have.

    

I love the tranquility of being down on the beach alone with my camera, listening to the waves and breathing in that gorgeous smell of fresh air and seaweed.

This is my favourite photograph from my photo shoot in St Ives.

I came across this stunning fishing boat stranded on the sea bed, waiting patiently for the sea to return. 

I dressed it with products from the website a gorgeous East of India wooden Seaside bunting and a pretty beach sign from Giddy Kipper and let the camera tell the story.

We have had some fantastic news here at MyLittleLoves we have been awarded a Silver Website Award from MumpreneurUK

Our website was reviewed by three individuals who each scored it's design, navigation, ease of use, content and overall presentation.

We are thrilled to have received our first award, and as we only launched in February of this year we feel it's a great achievement.

This is such a fantastic achievement for MyLitleLoves as we only launched three months ago and it is so nice to know that we are 'getting it right'.

The whole ethos of MyLittleLoves is to find products that we personally love, in the hope that you love them too. Every product that you see on our website is a personal favourite of mine, and I especially love anything handmade in the UK by small businesses like ourselves.

MyLittleLoves On Location

It was a lovely sunny Saturday here in Cheshire, so with camera fully charged i went off on location to take some gorgeous pictures for the MyLittleLoves website.
The backdrop was a beautiful 16th Century cottage (sadly my parents home not mine!) with a stunning colourful garden all ready to take some fab photo's.
With my two girls in tow, we enjoyed the lovely sunshine while creating lovely pictures.......i love my job!!!

Mother's Day Treats

Just recieved a delivery today for these gorgeous bath treats! They smell fantastic and look good enough to eat (although of course we wouldn't recommend this).

I did learn a valuable lesson today though.....don't take photographs of soaps outside when its raining...hmmm i should of known this really lol !!
